Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation, which allows you to make changes and absorb new ideas directly into the subconscious. Everyone experiences this deeply relaxed state at times in their lives, such as when deeply absorbed in a film or book; when used in a therapeutic setting it can help you to make long-lasting changes in many areas of your life, such as increasing confidence and performance, coping with stress, and improving self-image.

I also use NLP techniques alongside hypnotherapy, to provide the best way for you to make the changes you want to make. NLP was devised in the late ’60s and early ’70s, and looks at how language, thought patterns and perception of the world affects our behaviour. By becoming aware of these patterns, and how we think and see the world, we can begin to change not only our behaviour, but how we think and feel to enable us to have a more positive and helpful outlook in life and achieve our true potential.

What to expect:

You want your experience to be the best it can be. Sometimes, people aren’t sure what to expect, or how best to prepare. You can read here some useful information, tips and questions to help you prepare for your first session with me.

I ask that you fill in an Initial Assessment Form and a Client-Therapist Agreement Form; it is very helpful if you can return these to me before we meet for the first session. These help to clarify my role and yours in the work we do together. I will use this as the basis to set your goals in the first, Initial Assessment session, which lasts up to an hour and a half.

Each subsequent session lasts up to an hour and 15 minutes. Using a combination of conscious NLP techniques, and subconscious hypnotherapy techniques, we work towards achieving your goals. It is often helpful to set tasks for you to achieve in between sessions, so that you can really start to notice those changes you want to make.

Each session costs £80, payable by cash or cheque.
